Your Role and Responsibilities

Kyndryl Netherlands has exciting opportunities for enthusiastic IT professionals to work on a ground-breaking IT program to provide a completely renewed IT infrastructure for the Dutch Ministry of Defence.

Kyndryl will develop and realize a reliable, secure, future-proof, and flexible IT infrastructure and services for the next ten years. We’re hiring for a variety of skill sets from systems administrators to network specialists, Infrastructure architects and cloud specialists.

As a Tower System Administrator, you will have full system administration privileges for Tower with full read and write privileges over the entire Tower installation. The Tower System Administrator is responsible for managing all aspects of the Tower and delegating responsibilities for day-to-day work to various Users.

The successful candidate will adopt an agile way of working. You will have excellent written and communication skills and remain calm under pressure. Cooperation- and communication are very important skills to be successful in this role. The successful candidate will be working side-by-side with our customers’ teams on-site, and remotely to support big ambitions, challenge preconceptions, and amplify outcomes.

To be considered for this position, a security check (VGB) will be part of the application procedure. To be eligible for this position you must have Dutch nationality (Dutch passport).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Mandatory - Dutch passport / VGB screening will be required.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Experience using REST APIs for automation purposes
• Experienced with operation of Windows/Linux (at least basic) and/or system management /
• automation applications and general understanding of IT-infrastructure
• Understanding of the agile development methodologies
• Ability to learn new technologies (Ansible Tower)
• Ability to drive and take responsibility for solutions
• Knowledge ServiceNow or Service management Tools

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Knowledge of Ansible, Ansible Tower, CACF platform
• Basic ansible development skills to understand job logs
• Knowledge of network connectivity (e.g., for ssh troubleshooting)
• Github experience
• Red Hat certification (RHEL, Ansible)
